Each unit is precision built in the USA from 1.5" DOM steel tube and 3/16" laser cut steel plate. The design keeps weight balanced, approach angle sharp, and airflow unobstructed. Whether you’re exploring backroads, setting up camp, or just want your Crosstrek to look as capable as it feels, this bumper delivers strength and style in one package.

We began the development of our Off Road Front Bumper by 3D scanning the Crosstrek to capture every contour and mounting point with exact precision. This digital model allowed us to design directly around the vehicle’s geometry in CAD software, ensuring a perfect fit that aligns seamlessly with factory panels. By engineering every bend, cut, and weld in a controlled digital environment, we’re able to maintain tight manufacturing tolerances and consistent quality across every unit that leaves our shop.

Every Snail Works Off Road Front Bumper is proudly built here in New England using a network of precision manufacturing partners and our own fabrication facility. Each component is laser cut and CNC tube bent to exact specifications before being hand welded in our West Warwick, Rhode Island shop. Once assembled, every bumper is finished with a professional powder coat in New Bedford, Massachusetts, ensuring lasting durability and a clean, refined look that stands up to real-world use.
Tested on tough-ass trails
We don’t design for show, we design for punishment. Every Snail Works bumper is proven on the same rugged New England trails we drive ourselves, from muddy forest climbs to rocky water crossings. Each prototype took hits, scrapes, and recoveries before earning its place in production. When we say it’s trail tested, we mean it’s been dragged, winched, and hammered through the kind of abuse most parts never see. If it survives our testing, it’ll survive yours.
